DeKalb County Fiddlers' Convention 109th Anniversary

The 109th Anniversary of the DeKalb County Fiddlers Convention is Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Rotary Pavilion in downtown Fort Payne (located at 202 5th Street NE). For more than a century, DeKalb County has celebrated the sounds of the fiddle with many different artists, all adding their own sounds and giving us a bluegrass meets ol' time music feel today. Contestants will no only "Celebrate the Heritage" of DeKalb County and the fiddle, but will compete in a number of categories for over $4800 in cash prizes, all while supporting the Big Wills Arts Council & Fort Payne City Schools Arts in Education Program. Registration begins at 11am. Admission is $10 for ages 10 and over; under 10 is free. For more information, you can visit the DeKalb County Fiddlers' Convention Facebook page.
